18 Hours of Summer Left….
Tomorrow is the first day of school here in Lemont for elementary & middle school. Let’s just say that by this time of the summer, my mom was yelling “I can’t wait until school starts!” in thirty minute intervals. But for kids – summer dies the night before school starts. So, whatever you’re doing right now – it can wait. Run as fast as you can with kid in hand and go have fun! Yes, life will go on and ice cream will still exist tomorrow. But it will never taste as good as it does on the last day of summer…..

A BIG Job To Do…
This begins my attempt to connect with all of you in the middle of your crazy lives – running to work, getting the kids to soccer, not to mention cooking something edible for dinner (Hello takeout!) Honestly, as much as I have to share with each of you – I would love to know what you’re thinking too. So here it is: a conversation open to parents and volunteers alike. ‘Cause we all need each other to accomplish a BIG job – raising our kids to know and love Jesus.
